Firm raises £1000 for The Alzheimer’s Society

As part of Dementia Awareness Week Blackhurst Budd held a bake off competition on Friday 19th May to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

In addition to staff donations the firm has made a contribution to bring the total amount raised to £1000.

Warren Spencer, Managing Director at Blackhurst Budd commented:

“According to the Alzheimer’s Society there are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK, with numbers set to rise to over 1 million by 2025 and 2 million by 2051. We’re delighted to support such a worthwhile cause and something which we are all likely to be affected by, directly or indirectly, in the future.”
